Located between Toulouse (45 min) and Carcassonne (40 min), 12 min from the medieval city of Mirepoix, 6 min from the village of Belpech with all facilities, 45 min from ski resorts and an hour from the Mediterranean Sea, C5 is a beautiful Cathar castle and commandery of the Knights of Malta set in 4 hectares of grounds. Completely renovated, furnished and decorated with antiques C5 accommodates up to 21 people and if combined with renting the cottage another 8 so up to a maximum of 29 people.

- Prices are quoted in Euros. If you choose to pay in £ sterling or US dollars please pay the equivalent rate quoted on the site which is approximate only. We will inform you when you pay what the exact equivalent amount is in Euros that you have paid, since it depends on the exchange rate on the day.

- Payment can be made by bank transfer, or by credit card. Are net of bank charges, ie incomes are expected to pay all bank charges.Payment by credit card through our secure Internet server incur bank charges of 2% of the rental.

- 33% deposit is required with the booking. The final balance is due before the last minute. A security deposit as defined for each house is required to be paid with the balance. This covers the cost of any damage or breakages and other services. This deposit will be refunded, minus any charges for breakages, telephone, etc.

- Rental rates include: cleaning, bed linen, towels, bedding and towels, cleaning and heating

. Should cancellation occur before the beginning date, then the deposit is not refundable, within three months cancellation charges are 100% of the holiday. You are so advised to take care of your personal life and expenses in the event of loss or death. Finally, most importantly, you are expected to have a third party cover and cover your losses.

There is a refundable security deposit of euro 3000 which needs to be sent to the chateau owner two weeks before you arrive

There is a local tax per adults person (for 18 years) in a room of 1.1 euros per person per night for people staying in the castle to be paid to the chateau owner on arrival
